Getting married abroad is one of the most exciting decisions a couple can make. The light is different, the settings are extraordinary, and there's an energy to a destination wedding that's unlike anything else. I love filming them.

Why choose a destination wedding videographer?

A destination wedding deserves a filmmaker who will travel for it properly - not just show up and point a camera, but immerse themselves in the location and bring the whole atmosphere of the day to life on screen.

The light in southern Europe is unlike anything in the UK. The golden hour in Greece lasts what feels like forever. Tuscany in summer has a warmth that comes through in every frame. France has that effortless elegance that makes even candid moments look cinematic. These aren't just backdrops - they become characters in your film.

My approach to destination weddings is exactly the same as it is at home. Unobtrusive, documentary-style filming throughout the day, with high-quality audio capture and careful attention to the moments that matter most. The only difference is the setting - and what a setting it tends to be.

Where I've filmed abroad

IOS, Greece

One of the most beautiful wedding locations I've ever worked in. The whitewashed buildings, the sea views, the light - everything about it makes for extraordinary footage. The couple arrived by donkey. It was exactly as cinematic as it sounds.

Philadelphia, USA

An American couple who got married in England then asked me to fly out for their Philadelphia celebration. Rooftop venues overlooking the city skyline, incredible architecture and the kind of energy that American wedding parties do better than anyone. A brilliant film to have made.

Where I'd love to film next

Destination wedding travel costs are discussed at enquiry stage and vary depending on the location and logistics. For UK weddings, all travel is included in the package price as standard.

What's included for destination weddings

The same package applies whether you're getting married in the Cotswolds or the Greek Islands. You get a 3-5 minute cinematic highlight film, a 10-15 minute feature film, a full ceremony edit, a full speeches edit, drone footage where permitted, and private online delivery.

The only difference from a UK wedding is travel costs, which we discuss and agree upfront so there are no surprises. I sort my own accommodation and logistics - you just need to focus on your day.
